UE, E4, UB Error in Samsung washing machine

If the Samsung electronics washing machine shows the error UE, E4, UB (depending on the model), this is accompanied by problems with continuing the program. Water is collected and washing starts as usual. But when switching to spin, the drum does not gain momentum, rotates slowly, and then stops altogether. The cycle freezes, issues a fault code.

Errors UE, E4, UB mean that there is an imbalance in the load of the drum, or its axis is heavily overloaded. Usually they just report information, that is, they are not a sign of a breakdown. To verify this, you need to run the wash without powder and laundry. If the fault code still appears, then there really is a problem.

How to reset on your own

Before the arrival of the mechanic, it is worth trying to solve the problem yourself. The imbalance happens because the weight of things is not evenly distributed on the drum, or too heavy clothes are loaded. To solve the problem, try spreading the laundry around the drum with your hands or set a lower spin speed.

An error can also mean overload or underload. Then you need to pull out the excess linen or add more. The washing machine does not gain momentum even when installed incorrectly, on an uneven floor and skewed.

Error UE, E4, UB also happens due to a temporary software failure of the control module. This issue is resolved by rebooting. The machine is disconnected from the network and stays like this for up to 15 minutes, then it turns on again.
