SE error in the LG washing machine

The SE error code appears on washing machines with Direct Drive and means that the control system cannot detect the rotation of the motor. Diagnostics at a service center is required.

The SE error means that the washer motor is not working properly because, for some reason, there is no rotation of its shaft. That happens not only due to problems with the motor. Before calling the wizard, there are ways to try to handle it yourself.

Sometimes an error occurs due to a temporary software glitch. Fix it by restarting the washing machine. To do this, it is disconnected from the outlet and stays like this for 10-15 minutes, and then starts again from scratch. It is worth checking the wiring between the control board and the motor - it may have moved away.
