PF error in the LG washing machine

If you see a PF error on the display of the LG washing machine, this is accompanied by a sudden cessation of washing. That happens at any program stage, at the very beginning, middle or end. It does not matter which cycle has been selected and the temperature set. At the same time, there is no reaction to pressing the start button again.

Error PF means that during operation, there was a power failure of the control module. In most cases, this is not due to breakdowns but to power surges in an apartment or house. Before calling the wizard, you can try to deal with this yourself.

How to fix it on your own

If the PF code appeared once and did not occur again, then there would be no breakdown and a problem with the electricity. You must ensure that the washing machine is connected to it correctly and safely. You must connect the socket to a separate power supply with a machine. It does not hurt to install a voltage stabilizer as well. The problem may also be damage to the outlet itself or the cord.

Such a fault code appears due to too low voltage in the network. An electrician solves this problem. The error also occurs due to a temporary software failure. It is fixed by restarting the washing machine. To do this, it is disconnected from the outlet and stays like this for 10-15 minutes, and then starts again from scratch.
