PE error in the LG washing machine

If you see a PE error on the display of the LG washing machine, this is accompanied by the inability to start washing. Nothing happens when the user tries to set the parameters and clicks the start button again. Instead, it happens that such a fault code lights up in the process - then the running cycle unexpectedly freezes and does not start again.

PE error means that the pressure switch or the sensor responsible for the water level is not working correctly. Before calling the wizard, you can try to deal with this yourself.

How to fix it on your own

This code only sometimes appears due to a malfunction. For example, it occurs when the washing machine constantly draws and drains the water in a circle. That is a consequence of the improper connection of the unit to the sewer. Do it according to the instructions or invite a specialist to help. The reason may be insufficient pressure. The intervention of a plumber solves this problem.

A twisted inlet hose sometimes causes an IE error. Just enough to straighten it. You should also check the condition of the filter. If it's too full, clean it out.

The RE error only occurs sometimes. It also appears when the water level sensor connections come off. Just enough to put them in place. The error also occurs due to a temporary software failure. It is fixed by restarting the washing machine. To do this, it is disconnected from the outlet and stays like this for 10-15 minutes, and then starts again from scratch.
