IE error in the LG washing machine

If you see an IE error on the display of an LG washing machine, this is accompanied by a failure of the unit to draw water. That happens after turning on the machine, selecting parameters and pressing the start button. It happens that water enters the tank, but it happens too slowly. As a result, it still knocks out a fault code.

An IE error means that the washing machine is too slow or not drawing water. Before calling the wizard, you can try to deal with this yourself.

How to fix it on your own

This code only sometimes appears due to a malfunction. The reason for its highlighting can be banal - the lack of water supply. You also need to check the shut-off valve. It is probably screwed on. It is enough to unscrew it and do it all the way because water is not poured into the machine when it is not fully open. Another reason is external pressure.

A twisted inlet hose sometimes causes an IE error. Just enough to straighten it. You should also check the condition of the filter. If it's too full, clean it out.

The error also occurs due to a temporary software failure. It is eliminated by restarting the washing machine. To do this, it is disconnected from the outlet and stays like this for 10-15 minutes, and then starts again from scratch.

What damage can be?

If after restarting the IE error does not disappear, this indicates such malfunctions:

Water does not flow at all.	The sensor that controls the water level is faulty - the pressure switch.	Repair or replacement of the pressure switch.
