Fd error in Haier washing machine

When the Fd, error appears on the display of the Haier electronic washing machine, it usually occurs before the unit switches to dry mode. This fault code is displayed only for those washing machines where this function is implemented. The device cannot switch to it, does not respond to button presses.

Before the arrival of the master, you need to try to fix the problem yourself. Fd error means that the heating element that provides the drying function is not working properly. The reason may be a temporary one-time failure of the control board. It is enough to restart the module to correct the situation. To do this, the washing machine must be disconnected from the mains, let it stand for 10-15 minutes, and then turn it on again.

What damage can be?

If the Fd error is lit even after a reboot, this indicates such malfunctions:

• The heating element, which provides the drying function, has failed,
• Damage to contacts / wiring,
• The control module is broken (rarely).
