When an E20 error appears on the display of an Electrolux electronic washing machine, this is usually accompanied by a freeze in the work cycle. This often happens in the middle of its execution when the unit switches to draining water. When you try to do this, nothing happens. The cycle cannot continue, so it stops. The washer is giving a fault code.
Error E20 means that there are difficulties with draining. Before checking and testing, as well as before calling the mechanic, you must drain the water from the tank yourself. How to do it correctly is described in the instructions. When diagnosing in the service mode, the unit will more accurately show the cause.
Error E20 is not always a direct consequence of a breakdown. If it appears, the first step is to check the drain filter. Perhaps he got pissed off. Then it is enough just to clean it to eliminate the error. It could also be that the drain hose is kinked or kinked. If you straighten it, the water will drain again, as usual.
If everything is in order in this part, the sewer may be clogged. This happens if the washer is connected to the sink siphon. An experienced plumber can handle this problem. There is also the possibility of a temporary failure of the control board. It is fixed by reboot. The washing machine is completely disconnected from the mains and stays like this for 10-15 minutes, then starts again.
If even after cleaning and restarting, error E20 is displayed, then there is a malfunction. This code is displayed due to such malfunctions in the operation of the unit:
