When the E10 error appears on the display of the Electrolux electronic washing machine, this usually happens at the very beginning. After turning on the machine starts to make noise, but the water is not poured inside, and the workflow cannot start. As a result, the unit freezes and shows a fault code. Sometimes it appears before switching the washing machine to rinse mode.
Error E10 reports that there are difficulties with pouring water. The washing machine either cannot draw water at all, or it flows slowly. This is not always a sign of a malfunction of the unit. The problem may be in external factors. You need to make sure of this before calling and the arrival of the mechanic.
The first thing to do when an E10 error appears is to check the pressure or the presence of water in the water supply. There may have been a water supply interruption, for this reason, washing cannot start. In this case, you need to wait for the issue to be resolved or call a plumber. It is also necessary to check the inlet hose - it may be kinked. If everything is in order with it and the water pressure, but the error is on, you need to make sure that the water supply valve is open.
An error can also occur because the filler valve filter is clogged - a mesh-shaped part. It can be removed and washed independently. The problem also happens in the wrong connection of the washer - then the water is drained and poured again in a circle.
If all else fails, there may be a temporary board failure. It is fixed by reboot. The washing machine is completely disconnected from the mains and stays like this for 10-15 minutes, then starts again.
If, after all the above steps, error E10 is still shown, then you need to contact specialists. It appears due to such breakdowns:
Water is not collected at all, or comes only when switching to rinsing | Failure of the water supply valve. | Installing a new valve. |
The error appears immediately after switching on. | Control unit failure. | Soldering of burnt parts or complete replacement of the unit. |
The error appears 10-15 minutes after starting, too much water is being collected. | Sticking pressure switch - water level sensor. This happens due to clogging, damage to the hose or the sensor itself. | Depending on the breakdown, repair or replacement of the pressure switch. |
The error appears immediately after switching on. | Damaged wiring or contacts. | Restoration or replacement of wiring, contacts. |
