E1 error in Haier washing machine

When the E1 error appears on the display of the Haier electronic washing machine, this is accompanied by problems starting the spin cycle and continuing the set program. Usually, this DTC is lit when the unit is already erasing. Suddenly, before draining the water, the cycle freezes, there is no reaction to pressing the buttons.

Before the arrival of the mechanic, you need to try to fix the problem yourself. Error E1 means that the water from the washing machine is not drained for the required period of time. This is not necessarily the result of a breakdown. The problem may be a clogged drain filter or sewer. You can deal with the first one yourself, the plumber solves the second difficulty.

If error E1 is on, the drain hose must also be checked. Perhaps he was simply bent over or passed over. The problem may also be a temporary failure of the control board. It is enough to restart the module to correct the situation. To do this, the washing machine must be disconnected from the mains, let it stand for 10-15 minutes, and then turn it on again.

What damage can be?

If error E1 is still displayed, this indicates such malfunctions:

• Clogging of the drain hose, pump, pipe,
• Breakdown of the drain pump,
• Failure of the control board (rarely).
